It’s hard to believe that summer television is already coming to a close. It seems that time flies especially with the short summer seasons. I had high hopes for The Nine Lives of Chloe King when I watched the premiere and initially planned on writing about it each week, but I never had anything worthwhile to say until now. The finale … WHOA!
To be honest, I’m not sure why I kept watching this show. Every couple weeks, I would decide to catch-up and with tonight’s finale, I’m glad that I did. It was action-packed from the first moment until the end with twists that I didn’t see coming. Until tonight, I was ambivalent about seeing a second season and to be honest hoped it wasn’t renewed because that would be one less show for me to watch. But, now … that has all changed. Nine Lives needs to be picked up for another season, because it is just not fair for the show to end with this as the final episode. My biggest problem with the show was the pacing of reveals; that was resolved in the finale, such that I think the second season will be much better than the first.
I was continually drawn back to the show not due to the Mai story, but because of the relationships. Chloe was lucky to have such strong friendships to get her through the Mai transformation. I enjoyed not only her friends but the new relationships with the Mai and Brian. There were times this season when the Chloe-Brian-Alek love triangle annoyed me, but the last few episodes it was clearly a difficult situation for Chloe to be in. Her belief that she couldn’t be with Brian in the end was heartbreaking to watch. And even if she is better off with Alec, that inability to have Brian as a choice hindered her decision-making process.
Even I can’t decide who I want her to be with in the end. She would be great with either of them, but I lean toward Brian. I was a little confused at the end of the finale though. Earlier in the season, didn’t we find out that she wasn’t responsible for the death of the club guy that she kissed? Didn’t “the order” kill him? I don’t think that Brian is actually dead and Chloe will find out she can actually kiss him. But, is it because she doesn’t have killer lips or is it because Brian isn’t human?
The biggest disappointment was finding out that Chloe’s dad wasn’t the one emailing her. When he wanted to meet with her on the same night that “the order” planned on assassinating her friends and family, I was skeptical that it was him, but still hopeful. I didn’t expect it to be Brian’s grandmother. What is up with the Rezza family? I feel bad for Brian that not only is his father working against his love, but so is his grandmother.
When the show returns next season (fingers crossed), who will still be alive and who will be dead? I’d love for them all to survive, even Valentina. But, I have to assume that either Valentina or Jasmine will die. With the foreshadowing that Jasmine would “someday” have to take over for Valentina, I’m guessing it will be her. That will leave Chloe without an experienced Mai to help her. Brian … he has to live. There isn’t much of a story if he dies, right? Yeah, I’m hopeful at least!
With this finale, I’m very glad that I continued to watch the show. I see much more potential now that the framework of this story has been set-up for an even better second season. Ahhh!!! THat was ridiculous. I really, really hope Jasmine lives. Poor Jasmine always takes the fall for everyone. They can’t leave it like that!!
i agree, jasmine cannot die, like why would they even want jasmine to die in the first place? but im not so sure she will her ingury was pretty awful, but i still have hope for her!! figure’s crossed.!
I know if they have a second season they can’t just let Valentina and jasmine die even though I’m a team ALEK fan I don’t want Brian to die

Interesting. When I was writing the post, I almost included something about how many lives she had left. I was going to write that it was 7 if counting started with her birthday and her transformation. But, that is an intriguing question. Did she die in Russia and was brought back? Hmm….
I don’t think so because… She discovered she was Mai on her 16th birthday not before that.
Nobody knows how many lives she has left but it is interesting at what people guess it is. We don’t know her life before leading up to her life in the show. Hypothetically, who knows maybe she died that one year at summer camp by drowning in the lake. There are so many things we don’t know. Plus maybe her nine lives didn’t start until her transition into Mai. If the latter is the case, than she has 7 more lives. We can’t tell now and maybe we will never know.
I don’t think the 9 lives thing started until she began to transform at 16.

Actually, she still has 7 lives as she didn’t come into her powers until her 16th birthday. The Ukraine massacre happened when she was an infant, only survivor, means just that, she was the only one alive. I suspect it was her dad who smuggled her out.
yes chloe does come back to life after the gun shots and i do hope jasmine comes back to life too.
What a powerful finale to a great summer show! I too had to struggle to make it through a few early episodes, but I’m glad I stuck with it. The developing love between Brian and Chloe is so sweet to watch, so I really hope it comes back!

Guys brian isn’t dead he’s in a comma, and when she dies to save her moms life, he will wake up, and when she died to save a humans life (her moms) the curse was lifted :-)
Since Chloe King is the first Unitor, the mia may not know if there are different rules for the unitor. Since the unitor is suppose to unite everyone wouldn’t it go against the grain if the Unitor’s kiss was deadly to humans. Maybe the “Unitor” is an exception to the rule.

That was so good – I’ve really fallen in love with this series. I was a little skeptical after episode 1, but grew on me quickly. Great cast, always interesting plotlines. I can’t wait for next season!!!
Like some of the others mentioned, the show took awhile for me to get into. The main reason I kept watching it was that there was nothing else on since my other shows were off for the summer….sad but true. I got interested again during the whole Brian-Alec mess. Personally, I’d prefer to see her with Alec. He has personality–even if he can be a bit of a butt at times. I think Brian is a little dull…but then again perhaps I’m one of those silly girls who always likes bad boys. :)

We never saw the Order (creepy black guy) kill the club guy that Cloe kissed. We only saw him at his apartment. I am wondering if a Mai’s kiss turns other human into a Mai. If this is the case the Order will kill the human before completing the Mai transformation leaving the Mais to believe that their kiss really is deadly when it isn’t. They will NOT kill Brian off. This show screamed Jake and Edward since the beginning. Trying to get a bigger audience using the love triangle that got many tweens and adults into the Twilight. So don’t worry about Brian, he is alive, what he is now that is the question.
What a great season finale! The kids and I just finished watching it….which meant that we had to watch the last 7 minutes twice b/c it was soooo intense! I can’t believe Brian is dead! I wanted him to have a late transformation to Mai so they could be together! Oh wow! Can’t wait for season 2!

I don’t think Brian’s dad is as evil as we think. Yeah he is evil but not that much to kill his son’s girlfriend. Remember the father talked with Cloe at the party (art gallery) but he didn’t know she was the girl he is working alongside the Order to kill. Also remember when the ugly shorthaired lady kept the picture of Brian and Cloe behind her back, that is more proof that the Order does not want Brian’s father to know that Brian is in love with a Mai I think Brian’s father would back-off if he knew his son loved Cloe considering he had true love with Brian’s mother. The father probably thinks the Mais killed his wife and wants to seek revenge on all Mais. However, I don’t think the Mais killed his wife. Once we know the story of how Brian’s mother died we will know much more.
I was thinking the same thing! I have a totally crazy theory (and I don’t know if this is in any way possible, I haven’t read the books or anything) about Brian’s family! I think Brian’s mom was a Mai, somehow. I think Brian’s father was part of the Order, fell in love, and then dropped out and tried to get away, tried to cut the grandmother off from his new wife and son. Brian’s grandmother, not at all pleased with her son’s decisions, had Brian’s mom killed and framed the Mai’s for it.. Once this happened Brian’s dad decided to get back into the Order. It would also give a little leeway to the Brian/Chloe love story. If he’s half-mai, she can kiss him with no deadly results. :)
Also, it’d explain why Brian’s grandmother clearly has no regard for his feelings. If he’s half-mai, she may be disgusted with him, maybe? But then I don’t understand why the grandmother kept in touch via letters with Brian’s mom.. I don’t really know.. I realize this is completely outlandish, but it’s just a theory! Whether that’s in any way correct or not, I agree with you about Brian’s dad not knowing the truth about his wife’s death. When he finds out, he’s going to be pretty damn angry I’m guessing. He’s definitely not the Big Bad that we all thought he was before tonight’s episode!
Also, I can’t believe the freaking grandmother! I did NOT see that one coming, not one bit.

I really like your theory. It makes sense and would be great if they use this theory for the show. I would love to see Brian as half Mai. I didn’t know there were books based on this show until I read this blog. I might read them after the show is over. I made the mistake of watching Pretty Little Liars while reading the books. I’ll be watching the show and think that something else happened when it did but it was only in the book. So confusing to have to distinguish the two.
Oh I also think Brian’s father (Whitley) was told by the Order that Cloe’s mother is also a Mai which is why he is probably luring her to be killed. He probably doesn’t know that Cloe was adopted and that her mother is human.

I’ve made the mistake of having read a series before it became a TV show (the Sookie Stackhouse novels and the TV series True Blood) and being frustrated every week with the deviations from the book-plotline, lol. It’s definitely frustrating. That’s why I haven’t let myself read Chloe King (or Pretty Little Liars, or Vampire Diaries) .. I don’t want to end up frustrated with something I like so much already, you know?
Hopefully there is a season two so we can get all of our questions answered! If not, I’ll definitely let myself get the books then. :)
I thought it was Whitley but I looked it up and it is Whitney, even funnier. If you haven’t watched it yet, you should check out The Lying Game. The show has Nina Dobrev’s doppelganger. To me, Vampire Diaries is the best! I made the mistake of also reading those books during the show and they too are so different. I love Elena’s character in the show much better than the books.

If I were writing it, that’s how I’d do it. I’d find some sort of plot-hole to make it work. Maybe there’s an antidote that negates the poisonous effects a Mai kiss has on a human or something. I never said that it was right, you didn’t have to jump all over me for it.

This is a GREAT theory! (Ignore the negative comment. Some people are “literal” and not “creative”. They can only operate in black & white.) We could find all kinds of interesting ways to get to your idea! I know exactly what you mean about books & movies/series not agreeing and being disappointing. Should the show be picked up for a second season it’s not hard to realise that Brian will survive. Remember Xander the guy Chloe kissed near the beginning we were told he only died because of assassin sent by the Order. By definition it means that Chloe is exempt from the kissing curse.
I don’t feel any sadness over Brian’s death. He and Chloe did not have any chemistry. I think the writers made the correct choice. They are clearly taking the show in a darker direction, which is a smart move.

Alek is a good friend, but definitly not the one for chloe…no chemistry at all…he is just too young for chloe.

the season finally was awsome and i think brian will come back to life and i also think jasmine might come back to life because before that valentina and her talked about her taking her place.in the first episode when chloe kissed xavier and found he had died because of it we saw that brians dad asked the assasin if anyine saw him coming out of the guys apartment and he told him no which made us think he might have kill xavier and the kissing curse isn’t true but we don’t know for sure if he killed him or not because it never showed that part it could have been that the assasin was in his apartment for some other reason not to kill xavier which means the kissing curse could really be true.agian i don’t think they would kill off brian because lot’s of people watch the show because of the love triangle with him chloe and alek so i think he might live some how.
im on team alek i think that chloe and alek are perfect for each other because he’s always there for her either helping her with a problem,saving her life,or just protecting her or someone she cares about and brian was never really like that all he really did was say im not going to live until i know your ok and well he didn’t leave but that only happened a few times chloe should be with alek.

I think Chloe has 7 lives, not 6…The reason Alec approached her was because she was transforming, and Jasmine said that her transformation was very fast…So I think she lost 2 lives, from the tower incident and the gun shooting…
I definitely NEED Brian to live! He is the sweetest boy EVER! there is total chemistry between him and Chloe! Alec is just Not right for her! as the Uniter i think it should be apart of Chloe’s destiny and power to be with Bryan since he is Human. It can bring a change and help unite the different races. This finale was unbelievable….it ranks ABOVE, YES I SAID ABOVE, the likes of Dallas “Who Shot JR?”, Lost and YES, EVEN The Sopranos. Holy cow, what a night, so many questions, there better be some answers, meaning a 2nd season.
OH MY GOD i think chloe should TOTALLY date brian. If she dates Alek there really isn’t much to see and plus she clicks better with Brian. i dont think brian will die because i dont think the curse involves chloe, considering shes not only a mia but also a uniter… so there must be some exceptions.. right?

We already know there are other Egyptian god-child races like the Mai (children of Bastet) as we have already seen Jackals (children of Anubis)
and Alek said there are as many races as there are Egyptian gods, it goes without saying that any of the cast could be of another race.
Scholars believe there to have been some 114 Egyptian gods and so it is fair to say that some of the main characters could be descended from them and have all sorts of powers, immunities, weaknesses etc.
Some of the gods where under the control of others so it could be that Brian and his family come from one bloodline that makes them servants of the order who in-turn could be another race as well (has anyone actually stated that the Order are human, no, only that they are out to kill the Mai). For example; remember the Order assassin from the first few episodes. He was way too strong and powerful to be human (having taken on 3 Mai at once) yet it wasn’t stated that he was anything other than human so I believe the writers are purposely being vague to keep their options open.
As for Brian being dead, he is probably only knocked-out due to ‘miraculously being more than or other than human (as that would open up the possibility of Chloe and he having a relationship) but on the other hand the story is better served by his death as it gives angst to Chloe, Brian’s Dad as well as to his Grandmother (regardless of her motives she can’t have wanted her Grandson to die, can she?).
It has been reported than there is only one death this season so It has to be Brian or Valentina and so I would think it to be the latter. Brian acts too strongly as a connection to the various parties as well as providing the love-triangle with Chloe and Alek and so I suspect Valentina is the one to die. Alek probably scares off his assassin brother (allowing him to be a secondary nemesis at a later date) and saves his pretend sister as she was stabbed and not poisoned and so has more chance to survival unlike her Mother who was poisoned by a fast acting deadly poison an undisclosed time before Alek arrives home and so is most likely well and truly dead by then.
Anyhow, it’s all conjecture as it is after all a TV show that for the most part is made up as it goes along and so we shall all just have to wait and see what happens in season 2.
You never know Chloe might wake up in a shower with season one having been a dream just like Sue Ellen in Dallas all those years ago!

Ok, I also agree that Jasmine has to live and I think that Brain is going to live. And I also think that Chloe should be with Alec.
I like Brian and Alec equally, but for different reasons, so I can’t really choose; I guess if I had to I would say Brian just because he came first and it was more love at first sight, which wasn’t the case with Alec. As for the plot this is my opinion:
Brian is not dead, there is no way the writers would take away the love triangle (it brings in too many viewers just like Twilight)… plus in the first episode Alec talks about the results of kissing a human and he said “it depends on the kiss, sometimes paralysis, sometimes death and sometimes both.” Second: Jasmine is most likely not dead either because she was stabbed with a knife not the poison dart like her mom. (She was already healed from a gun shot wound in the first episode). Third: We also do not even know for sure if kissing humans actually kills them, especially because in the second episode, when the assassin is talking to Brians dad about the death of Xavier,the dad asks him if anyone saw him leaving his (Xavier’s) apartment… Why would he be in his apartment when they showed Xavier dead (with his eyes open) outside on the sidewalk? You may say what about the guys who the Brazilian sisters kissed, well we don’t know for sure if they were dead, they may just want you to assume that…
As for the grandma, Brian’s dad, and his lady friend… I believe that the grandma and the other lady (who looks very similar to the grandma?) killed Brian’s mom, but blamed the Mia to use Brian’s dad and his money/resources.

The Season Finale really was INTENSE. I read the book this week, hoping to get some hints of what’s going to happen in the next Season if there is one, but the show is SO different from the book. I didn’t actually like the book very much at all(although enough that I did finish all 900 pages..) I think Brian will end up alive, just because I don’t think they’ll have as much romantic tension on the show without him.
I think that they killed Xavier just to confuse us- because he lived in the book, so I think they wanted him to die so that we wouldn’t be able to guess Character’s fates’ based on the book.
I also think that the addition of Jasmine and Valentina was a big part of what really made the show so much better than the book, and i *really* think the 2nd season will be lacking if one or both are dead. Without Valentina, it’s just a bunch of teenagers against the Order; I think that she made the whole plot more serious.
However, in the book the leader of the Mai was killed partway through, making Chloe leader of the Mai, so I could see the show going in that direction in the 2nd season
I really hope there is a Season two.. but part of me hopes that there there won’t be, because theres a chance that Valentina and/or Jasmine won’t come back in the second season, and I’d like to believe that they’re both somehow still alive.
I agree with both “teams.” I think that she belongs with Alec and is supposed to be with him. However, even though she knows she shouldn’t be with Brian, she can’t help but stay with him, and long to be close to him. So whether or not her and Alec become a couple in the future, she loves Brian a lot and should be with him for now. Who knows? Maybe she’ll be with Brian forever. I personally like Alec better and prefer him over Brian, because he would be able to protect her, knows her “secret,” and is more interesting than Brian. But SHE likes Brian (Who I like too, because he’s really sweet and cares about her a lot, and his family background makes their relationship more dramatic), NOT Alec, and is probably going to be with him for a while. That’s just my opinion.
The finale was AMAZING, I’m also among those who kept watching the show even if the first few episodes were, well, not so good, and I’m happy I did because it eventually got me hooked.
The best and most heartwrenching moment to me was the death of Valentina and Jasmine.
How horrible was seeing her lying paralysed knowing that she was gonna die watching her kid been killed without being able to do anything to prevent it.
Jasmine falling down facing her mother’s eyes and shedding a tear was, well, beyond words. (Great job Mr. Reaser!)
Valentina saying to Jasmine that she wants her daughter to be able to take her place in the future really foreshadowed her death, so I hope and believe that Jasmine will survive (she is my favorite among the three on the line).
But it’s still really sad that their relationship ended like that…I wish they had explored it more.
And Valentina was a great character, the show started getting better when she first appeared, she gave it a more serious and deeper side.
Granny Rezza sounded suspicious from the start, but never thought she would be the Big Bad, even her pretending to be Chloe’s dad, I thought Simone was behind it.
She is genuinely Evil, a quality I highly appreciate in villains. :)
I can totally see her being the one responsible for the death of Brian’s mom and also it seems like she is totally fine with her grandson being involved in the war and actually being killed.

However what really surprised me was Zane telling Alek they are brothers, I was expecting a totally different thing.
I thought Zane would have told Alek that he is Chloe’s brother, because of the hints about the fact that Chloe and Alek might possibly come from the same country and their parents were killed in a massacre when they were both 3…
Hope Alek won’t kill his brother, just knock him off in order to save Jasmine.
I’m dying to know why Zane has this grudge against Valentina, he said to her that he waited that moment his whole life, it must be something HUGE.
Brian clearly won’t die, and I’m glad and sad at the same time.
Glad because Chloe needs to date him and get over him, otherwise she will be always stuck in this forbidden love/love triangle thing (how cliché!) that really gets boring after a while and also because I wish he will find the truth about his mother with his own strength and solve issues with his father.
Sad because if he really dies it would affect all the other characters in one way or another and the show will take a darker path, which I wouldn’t dislike at all.
What will be Meredith’s fate?
Does Whitley really know the truth about his wife’s death?
Is Chloe’s dad still alive?

I believe that Brian is not dead even though I am team Alek because jasmine told Chloe in one of te earlier episodes that Mai kill human if they are intimate in anyway, Chloe even asked if it was POSSIBLE to kill someone with JUST a kiss and jasmine said yes BUT humans don’t neccesarily die from JUST a kiss. Like for example, in the episode where the two female Mai come to san Fransisco from south America and while they are at the club one of them takes a guy into the bathroom, I have a feeling that they weren’t just kissig and that they were “intimate” and why would she want to be intimate with a dead person. Onto a different subject, my theory on chloes father is: chloes father and brians mother somehow had met and they fell in love after she was already married to brians dad and obviously chloes dad is Mai based on the fact that he knew all about her transformation. And because chloes dad and brians mom were in love they kissed, that kiss killing brians mom and when brians dad found out he killed chloes dad, hence why they have all of his stuff (his email, his book) an this is also how brians dad found out that chloes dad was also the unitors dad making him want to kill the unitor even more and hence why brians dad has his wife’s ring still because he found her dead OR both chloes dad and brians mom are Mai and they fell in love and brians dad who was not apart of the order at the time found them, he tried to kill chloes dad but he ended up killing both chloes dad and brians mom, again, hence how he has chloes dads things and brians moms ring and how he again knows that chloes dad is the unities dad making him want to kill the unitor more.
hello….jasmine said that there were different stages that could happen from a kiss….a small peck on the lips could give them a sevire sickness but being intimate would deffinetly kill them imeediatley. but they said nothing about somewhere in the middle.(p.s. i dont want brian to be dead but he most likely is because started to figure out something was up with chloe and noticeed some of her features of being a mia…so i think he would have told her if he was.)
Please some of you watch the show again. So many of you have been saying things that are impossible or just plain stupid.
These may contain spoilers, but it’s mostly just info that we already know and a lot of you have obviously missed because you weren’t paying attention.
1) Brian is not and never will be anything supernatural
2) Chloe’s dad (the missing one) is not Mai (obviously her biological one was, but he’s dead)
3) Brian’s dad hates Mai because a Mai killed his wife (learned this from he book)
4) Brian’s grandmother probably killed Chloe’s dad and was impersonating him and that’s why she had the drawing book
5) Alek is from Russia and Chloe is from Ukraine
6) The show can still have romantic tension without Brian because Alek is pissed at Chloe now for breaking his heart and there is a tiny chance that his “brother” could convince him to join the “dark side”
7) The Brazillian girls are killers. They think the curse means that Mai are better than humans and they exert their power by killing humans.
8) Scarface was human. He was just really well trained. After all you have to know how to fight Mai if it’s going to be you day job…
9) If Brian was “knocked out” or paralyzed Chloe would be able to feel his pulse. She was sitting there with him in her lap and she said, “He’s dead.”
10) The curse applies to Chloe; there is no antidote because it’s a CURSE.
Now try to come up with something more creative. You all try easy solutions that are so obviously wrong it’s annoying. Chloe would be more likely to go back in time than for Brian to be half Mai (which is impossible because they’re cursed against intimacy)!!! Rewatch the episodes and actually listen to what they’re actually saying!!!

No reason to be mean to other commenters here. We want everyone to feel free to speculate and discuss their thoughts about shows.
I don’t think any of the “deaths” from the finale are certain. We don’t know for sure that Chloe’s kiss killed the club guy. It’s definitely possible that her kiss doesn’t kill and the Order killed him. It is possible for Brian to still be alive. Chloe thinks her kiss kills, so it would make sense in that moment for her to think he is dead.

it is also possible that the guy from the club was in the proccess of dying when the order found him, and they just finished the job.
Chloe and Alek obviously have better chemistry. You’d have to be blind or stubborn not to see it.
She and Brian have a more platonic friendship than romantic. I really think Chloe just clung to him like that because they were friends, and because he made her feel human, normal. At least for a little while.
And besides that, I think Brian is totally wrong for her. He’s so BORING.
Alek is not your average guy and that makes him much more interesting and shows that he has actually depth, unlike Mr. Forbidden Love…
And, as mentioned above, she said, “He is DEAD.”

I am team Alek! Chloe belongs with Alek not Brian. I hope Brian did die but i am pretty sure he is still alive. I heard from one of my friends that Chloe and Brian end up together and Amy and Alek end up together. i know this for a fact because i read the books. so im pretty sure it is true
i think either Brians grandmother and the order our the “MY” had something to do with his mothers death. And if it is the order they must be framing the my because they know that brians father is powerful and want him on their side. even though i am such a team sexy sexy…and again sooo sexy alek fan i hope that brian isnt dead because that would make things too.. easy but she also has to go to alek….i mean who wouldn’t and hes a fantastic person.

I had a theory that maybe Brian’s mom fell in love with a mai and then died by kissing him? And that might explain why she had taken off her engagement ring prior to having died? And why Brian’s dad hates the mai so much. But I’m not sure how the grandmother fits into this theory or what the grandmother would secretly have against Brian if this were the case.
This show had better be on again next summer! I agree with whoever said they might need therapy if it isn’t. Way too many unanswered questions.

i agree, i was getting bored with the show but i still kept watching it and i have no idea why but i’m glad i continued, the finale was probably the best episode ever, i really want her to be with brian instead and i’m hoping his alive,i’m sure he is, i’ll rather valentina die than jasmine, valentina isn’t that important a character so she might die and jasmine might take over her role after learning from her mistakes. and i didn’t understand the thing with brian’s grandmother, how did she have the book and that?? :/

Something about the lighting, the haunting song (“Without You” by Junip) and knowing the show probably won’t get picked up by another network really sunk in…ugh. I believe that if Chloe would get her act straight and just dump Brian,he wouldnt be dead.Felt sorry for Alex doing what he does best watching over her. Sucks even more when poor Jass has to die knowing it was Alex’s lost brother. Urrghh! things are getting more interesting and hating Chloe even more.
I loved the finale but i am confused about brian. people say that he might be part mai or some other race but it dosent explain why he just blacked out after he kissed chloe. if he were mai or something he would have still been awake please someone give me an explination because i want him to be alive and the show is nothing like the book but one part of the book might be true that chloe saves her mom the curse is lifted and brain wakes up being able to kiss chloe and not pass out i hope that is what happens in season 2 (if there is one)
I think that chloes dad was a guy that wasn’t completely human and was sent t protect her. But after he dropped her off at his wifes house the order a.k.a brains grandma killed him took his stuff so she could track chloe. Even though I am completely team alec i think brian should live because he adds to the story. Alec will kill Zane and get some info from him and then grab chloe (after she saves her mom from whitely and her mom finds out she is mai) they will go on a plane to england to seek refuge with alecs adoptive parents who, since their (adopted) son disappeared have been collecting information about the mai. In london paul and amy join her because they find brian and had info on the whole uniter thing cuz they went to Valentinas house and found some top-secret books about the uniter. That is why Zain was trained to kill her to get those books. When they follow a lead that alecs adoptive parents gave them they go to egypt because they have found in ancient temple that when the uniter is there is transports representatives all races there. She also learns that she is not mai but a bit of every race. Humans learn about the mai and the order is destroyed. Chloe becomes the uniter. and marries alec who rules with her with the counsel of brian. Amy and paul factor into this. She then gathers a team with representatives of each race and uses them to kill the final order people. Jasmine lives and is the leader of the mai in SF. This whole story happens in 25 seasons.
