It was a bit of a slow week with President Obama again bringing mayhem to your regularly scheduled programming. The highlight in all of it was the NFL once again flexing its considerable ratings muscles. Over on cable, week two was not kind to MTV’s ‘Skins’.
A big list this week includes ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Skins’, ‘Greek’, ‘Ben 10′, ‘Hot In Cleveland’, ‘ER, ‘Rules Of Engagement’, ‘Funny Or Die’, ‘Spin City’, ‘Adam-12′, ‘All In The Family’, Sordid Lives’, and ‘The Universe’.
Scripted fare ramped up again this summer with quite a few offerings from various networks. Not having seen all of the shows, I’ll leave it up to you to tell me what I missed and why I should have paid more attention with your comments.
As we get closer to the fall season, the NFL is already taking over the ratings race on the networks. Over on cable, TruTV brought out their new show to be evaluated, only to be disappointed when they learned it was counterfeit, and not worth as much as they thought.
