I was wondering about all of the laughing and good times between Karen, Hank, and Becca … apparently it was all to prove a point. The weekend was fantasy; Monday in court is that family’s reality.
Talk about random guest star sightings … Tommy Lee playing piano in a hotel lobby as random people sing along with him? And could that have sounded any more like it was recorded in a studio?
Hank Moody golfing? I thought Hank would explode just coming out of the pro shop changing room, but actually swinging a golf club on the green, with Lloyd cradling him in a teaching moment? It was crazy!
I’m going to guess that Abby will dump Hank as a client for ethical reasons after sleeping with him. Seems vastly different than Carla Gugino’s feelings on the subject when she played Vince’s manager on ‘Entourage’.
While I wouldn’t go so far as to suggest that he belongs on a better show, I am beginning to see where some of what’s going on around Hank Moody on ‘Californication’ is beneath the author.
Am I the only one wondering how it is that Charlie, hit by a stun gun in the back, got up before the cop that Hank punched in the face? What does that say for the taser industry?
Hank and Karen continue to do a simultaneous dance that may never again result in them reconnecting, but it’s Hank’s career that could potentially be the most intriguing thing explored this season.
