Another week of ups and downs brings good news for some (’30 Rock Live’, ‘Defenders’, ‘Smallville’), and bad news for others (‘The Event’, ‘Running Wilde’). Plus, how did a Monday ‘iCarly’ stack up against the entire NBC schedule?
‘Caprica’ returned last week, and the results leave us questioning how long the show can remain a part of the new Syfy. Over on the networks, there are still a few new shows (‘The Event’, ‘The Defenders’, ‘Detroit 187′) looking to find their levels.
As if you had to question why the future of ‘Caprica’ isn’t looking so bright, here are some primary reasons why a second season for the show isn’t very likely.
The path for the series seems clearer after this episode, though that doesn’t mean it was successful in bringing in new viewers or even retaining old ones.
A little of everything this week. New – ‘Stargate Universe’, ‘Bones’, ‘Caprica’, ‘Monk’, ‘Medium’, and ‘Blue Mountain State’. Classic – ‘Mary Tyler Moore’, ‘All In The Family’, and ‘Gunsmoke’. And young – ‘Ben 10′, ‘The Penguins’, and ‘Phineas and Ferb’.
