This had to be the worst of the four ‘battle rounds’ on the program. I’m relieved these segments are a thing of the past and am looking forward to the next phase of the show.
What did I learn from this week’s ‘The Voice’? Short people can have their day, you can get away with a Radiohead song (at least if you’ve won two Grammys), and Cee Lo Green actually does take his sunglasses off. Did this episode throw you as much as it did me?
There were some really bad duets, the shock of Devon Barley’s advancement and the jaw-dropping collision of common sense at a pair of contestants advancing where they shouldn’t have. What’s going on … ???
What did I learn from this week’s ‘The Voice’? The importance of knowing your British rock bands, to fear Javier, and a new word, courtesy of Adam Levine. Let’s get to it, shall we?
So … how did Week 2 of the Battle Rounds on ‘The Voice’ turn out? I’ll give you one hint: Things stepped up….
Two episodes in, things get shaken up. Now we see what the competitors are made of as they go up against each other.
“Extra! Extra! ‘The Voice’ trips over itself but doesn’t quite fall! This week’s contestants are boring! The format gets stale! Tune in next week to see if it can redeem itself!”
