Latest episode clacks for this show:
After a very, very long holiday, Katie is back to look at ‘The League’ and see how it held up compared to the first two seasons.
The holidays dealt a crushing blow to the network schedules last week, leaving only five hours of new scripted programming on all five broadcast networks combined. Over on cable, it was season finale time for ‘American Horror Story’, ‘The League’, ‘Dexter’, and ‘Homeland’.
After a five year break, ‘Fear Factor’ returned at the top of the NBC heap. Over on cable, a shocking finale for HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ meant good things for everyone. Well… everyone but that actor… that played that guy.
‘Two And A Half Men’ has slipped back ahead of ‘Modern Family’ on the big networks, while over on cable the ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ finale was bested by bikes, boxes, and babies.
As the various winter holidays rush toward us, the programming on the televisions begins to slow down. That opens the door for things like the Victoria’s Secret models beating everything else on the networks. On cable, ‘The Walking Dead’ went out with a bang, literally and figuratively.
The future is looking bright for ‘Grimm’ (as bright as any future looks on NBC), as it finished first in the demo at 9 on Friday night. Over on cable, FX is celebrating as ‘Sons of Anarchy’ continues to score well while ‘American Horror Story’ finds a series high.
It’s a dark day for fans of ‘Community’ as the new NBC mid-season schedule has the show being bumped into the neverland of ‘returning at some point’. On cable, AMC has found a partner for ‘The Walking Dead’ in ‘Hell On Wheels’.
