Apparently, the writers have come up dry already on this fledgling science fiction series, choosing to resurrect a classic 1963 horror film and work horizontal mambo magic into the story line instead of go forward with the show’s mythology.
The ‘Beef Trust’ seems to have gotten … errrm … “clipped” somewhat, but that isn’t slowing the uniqueness, overall good storytelling and action on the show.
On ‘Hugh Laurie: Let Them Talk – A Celebration of New Orleans Blues’ the titular ‘House’ actor left me longing for the south once more. The Doc does the blues admirably.
Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith exploded in the states with ‘Shout’. That song – and more – has never left our personal songbooks.
Remember console televisions? Yeah … the ones where you had to get off your ass and actually go to the set to change the channel? All 8 channels? My … how RCA turned into DVR so very, very quickly …

At least there was a redeeming segment in the premiere. No such luck this week. Was anyone else humming ‘If I Only Had A Brain’ beside me throughout the episode each time Walden came into the picture?
