Bio: If you live on the East Coast and watched a local ad on cable between 2002 and 2005, there's a chance I had something to do with that-- I may have even written it. I'm sorry and I promise that I never *wanted* to end a commercial with a shot of the employees standing in the parking lot and waving; it just happens. Right now, I confine my writing to various corners of the internet, including the entire CliqueClack family of sites. If you travel between the sites, you can probably figure out enough information about me to steal my identity. So good luck with that, sucker. Have fun paying my student loans.

Diary of a Weeds Virgin – Season 2: self-sabotage abounds

(Season 2, Episodes 1-3) I’m starting season 2 of Weeds, and I’m still definitely digging the show. It is a bit daunting, however, knowing that I have so far to go in order to catch up, but it’s the summer, and isn’t that what summers are for? In this installment, I watch the first three […]

Daily Rerun Roundup – 30 Rock, The Office and Ace of Cakes

I’m generally not a huge rerun fan, but a good sitcom can always be watched over and over again, so NBC will definitely get my eyes tonight. The other great thing about summer is catching up on some more obscure cable shows that you may have missed out on during the regular season: You pretty […]

Medium – Dude. You can totally rob a bank: here’s how

I may have started watching television crime dramas a little late (I didn’t watch my first episode of Law & Order until 2001-ish), but I have made up for that belated start in sheer quantity. As someone who watches a lot of TV about cops and lawyers, I’m obviously pretty close to being a cop […]

Blossom – CliqueClack Flashback

I just watched Blossom for the first time since it went off the air in 1995, when I was 14 years old. For whatever reason, it was never really syndicated, so I couldn’t relive my childhood through it the way I’ve done with shows like Saved by the Bell or Full House. Of course, I […]

90210 – Annie’s little bump in the road

Okay, weren’t the last 5 minutes or so of 90210‘s season finale pretty hilarious? Actually, the whole episode kind of was, what with the Wilsons getting accidentally high and Adrianna’s fever dream involving Brenda and a dragon. But the last 5, Carrie-esque minutes with Annie? Priceless. The entire 90210 finale was filled with boring, yet […]

Medium – maybe the Dubois family Should just move to San Diego

This was a big day in Medium-land. First NBC canceled it, then it got picked up by CBS, where it will air in the fall. It’s interesting timing, considering that this news perfectly coincides with a similar shake-up on the show: Joe’s job offer in San Diego. When Joe’s company got bought out by an […]

Justin Guarini and I chat about the American Idol finale

Cut the crap. You know you’ve got a favorite in the American Idol finale. You may pretend it’s beneath you, but deep down inside, you either think Adam Lambert is the best sparkly vampire ever to warble a Johnny Cash tune, or you think Kris Allen is Jason Mraz‘s dreamier, more Southern soul brother. Hell, […]
