Welcome to the start of Common Law week! Tonight, Travis (Michael Ealy) and Wes (Warren Kole) make their debut as dysfunctional LA police partners. They are the perfect crime fighting duo, except for the whole not getting along thing. Sometimes, opposites attract, but these two are just explosive around each other. They fight worse than an old married couple, because their battles include guns being drawn or full-fledged wrestling. Despite their personal animosity, they close cases on the job, which causes the captain take extreme action to keep the partnership together. He sends them to marriage counseling.
USA Network invited CliqueClack to visit the show’s set back in December to look around and conduct interviews. This week, we will be bringing you highlights from that visit, including some sneak peeks of the upcoming season.

I’d take Travis… but I wouldn’t get much work done cause I wouldn’t stop staring into that beautiful man’s eyes!!
Im going with by the book Wes .. I need to be organized
I would go with Travis, Ive always had a thing for bad boys, they can have more fun ;)
I’d probably have a more serene life with Wes as my partner, but I’d have more fun (and more stress) with Travis. So it’s kind of a toss up for me; since I’m kind of tired right now, I’m gonna pick Wes.
I like Wes.
Definately need an organized guy like Wes!
Being a bit of a control freak myself, I know from experience that working with another control freak is a nightmare. So definitely Travis for me. Plus, it’s clear Wes really has some major anger issues, and after watching the pilot, it’s kind of hard to stay totally mad at Travis.
Wes; Travis seems annoying.
I was laughing my butt off the whole show, but I laughed the hardest when the both went flying through the glass window fighting, just because of the situation they were in then, and that their boss was talking them up at the moment and then they started fighting.
Amusing premiere and I liked the back & forth banter between Wes and Travis throughout. I like Jack McGee’s character (he normally plays tough guys) being all Zen and serene. Nice change of pace for him. Some of the lines went by me because they seemed to talk fast or maybe the music in the background was too loud. Think next week I might put on the close caption feature when I watch.
I think Wes will cause more trouble because it’s usually the ones who are more wound up that eventually explode whereas the ones who already express their crazy side don’t.
I’d rather have Travis as a partner.
I like the hand sanitizer scene.
I think Travis will cause more trouble because he’s the crazy one.
i rather have wes as partner
Wes’s replacement ride should be Travis’s motorcycle. Travis did offer, after all.
Travis definitely makes the job more exciting!
Question 4: he should probably get something sensible but rev it up some (like maybe a few years old suv; or an older ford bronco). based on his previous car getting destroyed, it’s probable the next one will to so he shouldn’t get anything he really likes.
I would have Wes as my partner as I get pretty erratic
The funniest moment was when one of the group therapy guy thought Travis and Wes were gay and they tried to clear it up and the guy still didn’t believe them
I think Wes will create more problems as he’s not open to listening to solutions
Wes should get a Nissan Murano 2010
Im thinking he would look good in a a sporty foreign convertable
Question 5: I think it would be fun to see Wes and Travis head to the Hamptons to appear on “Royal Pains.” I could see Travis especially really get into the “beautiful” scene with the rich and famous. Wes may get irritated with the lavish pampered lifestyles of the Hamptons but I could also see each going against their usual characteristics and personalities.
I also tweeted the contest under twitter name @CinemaInamorata.
Thanks for the chance to win!
His replacement car should be a Hummer.
I’d like to see them appear on Fairly Legal so that Kate can mediate them.
A reference to “courtin’ cologne,” and “manscaping” were both good one-liners.
