The crystal ball seems to be working its mojo here at CliqueClack HQ lately. First we had the accurate prediction on Dexter, and then, earlier today, we had one go right for American Horror Story. Sorry if you were spoiled by our clairvoyance — we didn’t mean to!
Carla actually had approached us with the Violet being dead theory a couple of weeks ago, and it made a lot of sense. I think a couple of us were questioning the timeline, wondering when Violet was last seen outside the house. Now, of course, there’s no question — we got a body and all. What’s a bit odd, I guess, is that Tate didn’t bother doing a better job of hiding Violet’s body, but them’s nitpickings, right?
The way Violet — and, therefore, we — were shown that she was dead was cool, and I don’t mean the grotesque, twisted body in the crawlspace. Violet first running toward the gate screaming, with only a dog noticing her, would have started to tip people off who didn’t assume it already. And then the constant re-entering the house from the back door. What kid of power is there over the house that’s doing that? What’s keeping these spirits “alive?” I wonder if we’ll ever get some idea, or if it’s just a matter of constant bad luck, with consistent violent murders.
I wonder why Tate ever wanted to save Violet in the first place, especially if he seems to be happy that the two of them will be “together for always.” Likely, for the viewer, it was meant to not tip us off that she was ever dead, until now. Is it because Tate knows that being dead actually sucks? Being in that house — in the basement — for eternity can’t be fun. They’re just going to play cards all the time, never growing old?
I’m wondering now what Larry’s plan is, as far as getting revenge against Constance, which I imagine is what he legitimately wants to do. He’s in prison now, yet his “plan” was to get her in there. How does that work out in his favor? Is anyone else assuming Constance’s fate being sealed with dying in the Murder House? Talk about Violet living hell! But I wonder if Larry had a change of heart, and he’s content in proving his responsibility to his dead wife by taking the fall for Constance? Unlikely.
When will the Harmons learn the truth about Violet? What will Ben do when he wakes up, about learning about Tate and the rubber suit? Is Phil the exterminator a new addition to the Murder House family now? What did Tate mean about him needing to repent for the murders there? Will we find all of these things out before the season’s over?
