Big Bang Theory – Finally someone found second base

I’m not sure who Amy has less of a chance having sex with: Sheldon or Penny. She’s a woman in her sexual prime, and the most action she can get is Leonard accidentally taking her to second base as he helped her up. This week’s Big Bang Theory proves once again that bringing Amy and Bernadette more into the fold is making the show considerably more dynamic.

I am beginning to worry about how long the relationship between Amy and Sheldon can last. She’s clearly yearning for … something … that he is obviously not prepared to give her. The denial of sex is something that has ended many a young relationship, though it isn’t often that it is the male partner doing the denying.

This week, we also saw the aftermath of Priya’s admission to cheating to Leonard. When she told him, I’m not sure that I believed that Leonard would have the fortitude to stand up for himself and end it. Well, to be honest, even though he mentioned off-handedly that he is now single, I still find it hard to believe he initiated the breakup. I’m sure Priya did that for him too. It is too bad … like many of the commenters last week, I really liked Alice.

As usual, The Big Bang Theory was packed with some great quotes. These were some of my favorites … Did I miss one of yours?
