I know, I know. This is like Sophie’s Choice. Together, Danno (Scott Caan), McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) make a delicious triple decker sandwich. Who doesn’t want to be nestled upon Danno’s tiny body, embraced by McGarrett’s abs, and caressed by Chin Ho’s quiet whispers? Yes, they’re all pretty, pretty men who’d easily tie for the Grand Supreme Hotness title at any local pageant; but, I’m not talking about straight up hotness, I’m talking about WHO would you most want to be stranded with on a deserted island?
Wait. Before you rush to answer, think about it. This is going to be your continuous companion for the next 365+ or whatever days. And, the person will have free will. So, even if you ARE the last person alive, that doesn’t mean they’ll want you. So, keeping that in mind, WHO would you want to serve as your continuous daytime and nighttime companion?
Surprisingly, my money’s on Chin Ho. He’s the best combination of all three. Ho has the same wilderness/tracking skills as McGarrett, the same hot bod as Danno, but he also listens and supports. Additionally, he’s built-in entertainment. Think about the Hawaiian lore, dirty cop tales, and family stories he could conjure up.
McGarrett’s way too intense and, if I’m stranded on a deserted island with a pretty man, I’d want time to admire him. Knowing McGarrett (the new MacGyver), after five minutes he’d create a solar powered engine to propel the island to safety. Or he’d swim the combined lengths of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean, while carrying me on his back, until he found help. So, I wouldn’t even get a chance to enjoy one day with him.
Scott Caan’s hot, but I couldn’t live with Danno’s walking laugh track or his frustrated whiny impotence upon discovering we were stuck but he couldn’t do anything.
So, what do you think? Guys, I’m not putting Kono (Grace Park), because she’d win by 157.99% (however, write-ins are accepted).

Tough call. Steve would keep us safe and sheltered until he got us off the island by shear will, but I don’t think would have a lot of tolerance for my admitted whineyness. My idea of roughing it is not having cable or a good book to read. The same goes for Commander White.
I think both Chin Ho and Danno would be more tolerant and being on a deserted island longer would be offset by that but again not real big on roughing it.
Max might be fun for the first day or so but then I might have to kill him for being entirely too practical mentally speaking.
I like your logic, Daniac. Agreed Max’s enthusiasm would probably end in his murder. Commander White definitely wouldn’t pamper you. What’s the point of getting stuck on a deserted island with a he-man if he expects you to do your fair share? For some reason, I see Steve as more tolerant of someone’s complaints than Danno. After all, Steve puts up with Danno every day, but not vice versa ;)

They are all wooden actors. Sadly, my favorite Cylon Grace Park looks like she will be written off the show. To bad but figures they replace the Asian actress with a blonde!

I would like to point out that I have listed Max, up there.
And, regarding the female characters, you have to take that up with H5-0 themselves to make certain they keep primary female characters. As Julia pointed out they are tertiary and rarely long-lasting. The Governor? The Governor’s Assistant? Kono? Newly evil new girl? All awesome characters! Why remove them when they’re good? OK. That belongs to another post.
But, feel free to vote for your favorite male (who isn’t Michael ;). Note: It can be platonic ;)
How on Earth could you have Commander White on your list (who is not actually Locke), but leave out Kamekona and Chairman Wo Fat?
