There were two changes for this week’s results show: only one guest performance and no judges pick.
First up were Smage Bros. Riding Shows and Team iLuminate. Howie mentioned to Team iLuminate that “You are the second most fun I can have in the dark!” Not surprisingly, considering that Smage Bros. went down a notch last night and made a few mistakes, Team iLuminate are going to the Top 4.
Next up were Miami All Stars and Lys Agnès. Piers told both acts that no matter what happens, they should be proud of what they accomplished. Nick announced that neither were going through. So far so good for the CliqueClack readers who voted in our poll as MAS and Lys didn’t get many votes.
It was then time for Poplyfe and Landon Swank to come on stage. America voted for Poplyfe! Bummer for Landon Swank … at least he went quite far for a magician on AGT! It wouldn’t be surprising if Landon does end with a show in Vegas in the near future.
For those of you who are reading this post prior to watching the results show, you are not dreaming, we are half way into the show and no guest performances yet! Instead, the show gave the air time to a quick look back for each act prior to announcing results as well as some behind-the-scenes stuff.
However, a results show without guest performances wouldn’t be a results show, so Il Divo performed next. They offered a solid performance and the stage setting, even if simple, was grandiose. Having an orchestra on stage made it even more special. Watch their performance below.
Silhouettes and West Springfield Dance Team were asked to the stage. With this pairing, it didn’t come as a surprise that Silhouettes got the votes to be part of the Top 4. Howie repeated that it’s the season of the dance and that the two dance groups in the finals are quite original.
Finally, it was time for Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Anna Graceman to learn their fate. Both looked dead serious when waiting for their results. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is going through to the finals!
The Top 4 is composed of Team iLuminate, Poplyfe, Silhouettes, and Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. I got three out of four (I picked Landon over Landau) but the CliqueClack readers were 100% right with their picks according to our poll.
Next week is Finale Week! May the best act win!
