Shevonne, Yellow Design Stunt Team, and West Springfield Dance Team were asked to the stage. West Springfield Dance Team were sent to the next round.
The cast from Les Misérables offered us a solid performance of “One Day More.”
Next up to learn their fate were Avery and the Calico Hearts, Charles Peachock, Those Funny Little People, and The Kinetic King. Piers said that if TFLP were voted through, he would take a cab to LAX and fly back to his home country ASAP! I’m glad he didn’t say that last night as TFLP could have gotten a good number of extra votes from viewers who would have wanted to see if Piers would actually go back home, meaning that TFLP could have gottena spot in the Top 24! Luckily for Piers, he can stay were he is as America voted for the Kinetic King! Thanks America for not voting for TFLP.
It was then time for the magicians to face off when Nick asked Landon Swank and Seth Grabel to the stage. This pairing meant only one of them would move on. Bummer. We need more magicians on AGT. Landon Swank was sent to the semi-finals. He did offer us the best performance out of the two last night.
Colbie Caillat sang “Brighter Than The Sun.”
Last to be called on stage were Summerwind Skippers, The Fiddleheads, and J. Chris Newberg. J. Chris Newberg was sent home. The judges had to pick one act between Summerwind Skippers and The Fiddleheads. After a long explanation, Piers voted for Summerwind Skippers. Howie voted for The Fiddleheads. Sharon broke the tie by voting for Summerwind Skippers.
The four acts moving on are: West Springfield Dance Team, the Kinetic King, Landon Swank, and Summerwind Skippers. One of these acts was picked by Sharon and the other three were picked by Piers. None of Howie’s picks are moving through. I only got one pick right this week (Landon Swank). You?
The semi-finals, aka the Top 24, start next week with twelve acts performing.
