I have never before seen the commercial below … until just a few days ago.
And to be honest with you, when I did see it, I was monumentally glad the sun was still shining outside.
Clowns. They are one of my worst nightmares. And this particular commercial I stumbled on doesn’t help matters much, either.
I don’t know when clowns became a problem for me, but they are. And they have been for quite some time now.
Because they’re scary. And they’re evil. It’s as simple as that. You know it, I know it. Everybody knows it.
It’s not like I’m in some sort of exclusive club here. Grown-ups can be just as frightened of evil clowns as the unsuspecting child, you know.
And folks? Let’s not make any mistake about the fact clowns are evil. They are. There’s nothing funny about them, despite what they would like you to think. And hey! They wear make-up! Why? Because they have something to hide! I haven’t quite figured out the reason behind their over-sized shoes yet, but — to be brutally honest with you — I really don’t care to delve into that.
Now … the folks at Wal-Mart hit the nail on the head with this commercial. Perfect example of why clowns are scary.
And let me tell you something: I guarantee you, even if the guy in the clown suit didn’t step on that unicorn to let loose like he did, there would still be 3 or 4 kids heading for the hills screaming in sheer fright when they eye-spied that clown.
I’m just truth speakin’ here.
My vote – Clowns are scary … WalMart is evil.
Okay, Booth, put the gun down.
Other things bother me worse, but I ain’t saying what! :)
O.K. Noble, so you are a little Coulrophobic, big deal. I agree with Chuck that WalMart is evil and should be rightfully feared!!!
