Cable moves to center stage this week as the big releases come from The Glades, Haven, House Of Payne, and Spongebob. They’re joined by a nice collection of classics. I’m particularly curious about the new wave of 80s crime-time best of sets. I don’t know that I would ever buy complete seasons of A-Team or Miami Vice (I already have for Magnum), but the greatest hits at the right price is an interesting idea.
For the pick of the week, we’re going horror. Even without the Elvira shenanigans, a double feature of Night of the Living Dead and I Eat Your Skin for $10.99 is a nice deal. And, FYI, if you get THIS TV, they have been running Elvira’s Movie Macabre on the weekends.
