“In the small town of Shuckton, Ontario, which has just placed a bid to host the 2028 Summer Olympics, its mayor, Larry Bowman, is found murdered. As the authorities investigate, other townsfolk with a personal history to the deceased mayor conduct their own unofficial investigations to see if they can discover who committed the murder. Life in Shuckton continues under the leadership of the new mayor who has her own agenda, and under the watchful eye of the local news team, who not only have more news to cover than usual but who are dealing with their own internal issues. But as life continues, so does Death, he who has some more names on his list and some old scores to settle.”
It’s so hard for me to choose just one sketch from Kids in the Hall that is my absolute favorite. Sure “Girl Drink Drunk” is classic social satire (of which the Kids were modern-day masters), there’s also “Skora the Gentle Shark”, “Let the Monkey’s Out”, “Nobody’s Home / Crushing Your Face”, I could go on and on. However, I think the greatest sketch they ever did wasn’t so much funny as it was insanely artistic, “The Sausage Factory”. I remember the first time I watched that sketch, I immediately burned it into my memory since at that moment I knew I was watching not just great sketch work, but also a very artistic moment. It truly is a sketch that defines the uniqueness of the Kids, and why they have such a hardcore fan base.
I just wish this contest included the full series DVDs as well (even though instant netflix helps fill that void :))
My name is Adam. My favorite Kids in the Hall sketch is the skydiving one: “Don’t you die on me!” “… He did. He died, on him.”
And I would like to win something for the first time.
My favorite KITH sketch is Husk Musk. “We’re gonna have to seal up your pits Danny!”
I like the one where The Beard- Kevin returns from vacation with a beard. The beard starts to go to his head.
