Five things I’d like to see in tonight’s Pretty Little Liars finale

Tonight’s the spring finale of ABC Family‘s Pretty Little Liars, and, although I have only fairly recently jumped on the PLL bandwagon, I’m definitely excited to see what happens.

Here are five things I’d like to see during the finale. (Add your own in the comments below!)

1. More Spoby. As I mentioned last week, I was totally excited when Spencer kissed Toby at the festival right in front of her overbearing family. I used to think of Spencer only as this cold and mildly bitchy honor student, but my feelings toward her have changed ever since she started seeing Toby for who he really is.
2. A return of several estranged characters, such as Noel, Maya, and Lucas. But the one reunion that I am hoping for the most? The one between Hanna and Caleb, of course!
3. An Ezria reveal. Not hat I’m hoping that either one of them will get in trouble. It’s just that their relationship has been at a rather even keel for a little while — with the exception of a recent bump in the road, the Jackie Molina incident. I’d like to see what happens with cop Garrett’s discovery that Aria was visiting Ezra at his apartment. And even the threat of exposing these two is enough to make things that much more exciting for the finale.
4. Some closure regarding Ian’s role in Alison’s death, whether it proves him guilty or not. I’m just really dying to know whether Spencer and her friends are on the right track with him. It almost seems too obvious, and I know there’s more to it. In addition, I’d like to know more about Melissa’s apparent involvement, alluded to by the fact that she helped him cover up a lie about Hilton Head in “Monsters in the End.”
5. A kiss for Emily, whether it’s from new friend Samara (representative of the Sheridan Prep Pride group), or from an unashamed, ready-to-go-public Paige. I’ve said this before, but Emily deserves something real. She shouldn’t have to be Paige’s secret.

One final word on ‘A’ : I’m not sure if we’re going to find out who she or he is tonight, or if we even should. I’m afraid that if we do, the series won’t have much of a place to go from there. I don’t want Pretty Little Liars to jump the shark yet!
