This show continues to be a showdown between Anna and Erica with them mirroring each other — things are opposite in a mirror, right? Erica consolidated the resistance by becoming the head of the Fifth Column and gained the loyalty of the network. While Anna continued to have her own daughter, mother and others working against her.
How creepy was that moment that Hobbes and Erica had when they were working on the safe? He killed her ex-husband. He better stay away from her! Though, now that I think about it, they probably are a better pairing than Erica and Jack. And, the moment that he tells her the truth could be a heartbreaking, yet amazing scene. The doctor’s leap off the building and disintegration was kinda cool to see. Though, many answers disappeared with her.
So, Ryan survived. That wasn’t very surprising. I’m not sure how he plays into this whole story, but I have a feeling he will end up doing something that ultimately helps bring Anna down. He will redeem himself. It was a nice callback to the original series by having Ryan’s daughter age quickly, while incorporating it into the story.
Anna once again proves what a bitch she is by having her daughter “entertain” Raphael, then hitting her and threatening her. Her daughter is betraying her, but of course … Anna has a plan. Anna still has one egg left? How did the egg survive without the head of the medical division knowing of its existence? Lots of secrets on that ship with a hidden egg and mother. Now not only is Tyler expendable, Lisa is as well. Hmm … the plot thickens.
Lisa may be expendable, but I don’t think Diana will let anything happen to her. Hopefully by the end of the season, Diana will be out of the dungeon and working with Lisa. That grandmother-granddaughter hug was priceless. Though, is Diana really on Lisa’s side? That was quite the smirk when she received the communication ball.
So many questions and only three episodes left.
When Erica and Hobbes were gazing at each other while working on the safe, I was saying that was not the time for that just as Erica had the same thought. That was a close one. The doctor freefalling was one of the show’s better special effects (there were some major green screen problems this week doing crazy things to Anna’s face – being in video production I notice things like that).
Two nagging questions I have though: why didn’t the doctor whip out her tail to defend herself? And what the heck happened to that armada of ships heading towards earth in the last shot of the first season finale??? That hasn’t been mentioned once this season.

There was some crazy stuff w/ Anna’s face and the green screen. Especially when she was leaving Ryan and his daughter. It was odd.
I’m not sure why Visitors that are under attack don’t pull out their tails or fight back. But, generally they all have just taken the pill. Maybe only the queen has a tail like that? Have we seen anyone else use one? Malik didn’t use hers either.
Anna mentioned the ships last night to her new assistant (what’s his name?). They are waiting for Concordia to be finished, then the breeding ships will arrive. Perhaps … season finale?
