Will Chuck and Sarah really want to lead a normal life? As soon as things got too familial with the new baby and wedding talk all they wanted to do find a mission.
I loved the conflict between Chuck and Sarah over whether they should have a wedding with family and friends or elope. It played out in a fun, yet serious way. Chuck trying to say “no” to Sarah — hilarious. Even more fun to watch … Sarah’s seduction of Chuck. That was a classic scene that will be watched over and over again (and not just by men admiring Sarah’s moves). The length that Sarah would go to get her way was a sign of her vulnerability. I was glad to see that in the end she opened up to Chuck about the real reason she wanted to elope. As Chuck said, “As the future Mr. Sarah Walker, can’t I get to know you better?” I can’t wait to find out more about the “mysterious” Sarah Walker.
As I have mentioned in previous posts, I wasn’t sure how Mary Bartowski would fit into the story now that she was back with her family. I was pleasantly surprised by how well she did fit. She was a loving mother and grandmother. It was almost like she had never abandoned her family — almost. It was touching for Ellie to tell her that she didn’t belong there, rather she was a spy and should do what she was meant to do. Though, I had forgot that Ellie still didn’t know that Chuck was working for the government again. She will not be happy when she figures it out and even more upset when she finds out Awesome was in on it.
In the theme of spies living normal lives, the General Beckman and Roan Montgomery (John Larroquette) story was counter to that of Sarah and Chuck. And, hopefully will be a reminder to the young couple to hang on to what they have, because just as with Chuck’s parents, it isn’t easy to be a spy and have a normal life.
Most heartbreaking was seeing Casey see his former finance with another and realize what he gave up all those years ago with a “Good for you, Kath.” At least he has regained a relationship with his daughter and created a new family for himself.
Overall, I enjoyed the balance of this episode between the personal side of the characters and how that fit in with the week’s mission.

After a few serious episodes it was nice to have one that focused heavily on the fun. Also I would like to thank the writers for putting Sarah in a belly dancer costume.
Runner up favorite scene was General Beckman firing the rocket launcher. That thing was half her size.
