“Playground. Great place to meet chicks. Their moms too.” – House, when asked where he was
Frightening, because House is sick enough to use dog-training techniques and devices on Rachel to try to give her the competitive edge to get into the preschool of Cuddy’s choice. He said Rachel had the fine motor skills of The Hulk.
So how can Chase be worse?
I’ll always love Chase’s storyline tonight for the pleasure of the phrase “Captain Micro Penis.” Every time I think of it, I become a 12-year-old boy for a couple of moments. Then I giggle like a 15-year-old girl and the spell is broken. We got another few great moments out of it as well:
However, the man has sunk to new lows. Being a player is one thing, and sleeping with three women at one wedding is unsanitary, if nothing else. I can even forgive him for sleeping with the pink kitten freak again. What is disturbing to me is that he asked out his cyber-pranker. That’s right — after she robbed him of his dignity and $2500.00, he asks her to dinner. Even though she said no, I just feel a recurring character coming on. Barf. Chase, have you looked for your self-esteem and good judgment in your pants? Oh, that’s right — you have.
Chase is worse than House, because even though House is a complete social deviant, he’s got a good heart. He really loves Rachel and doesn’t want Cuddy to be hurt if Rachel is rejected from the chosen school. Plus, he cuddles with her at the end … so cute. House is redeemable — is Chase?
This and that:
Am I just crazy or am I picking up some kind of sexual tension/attraction between Masters and Chase? Maybe more on Masters’ side? Just the way she kept looking at him during this episode made my shipper alarm start to beep. She looked at him a lot, with this kind of really disappointed look, like his horndogging was a personal issue for her. I’m probably imagining this. I’m intrigued by this possibility but could also see it being disastrous, so I’m not sure how to feel about it.
My shipper alarm was going off too, but I also don’t know how to feel about it. The romantic in me squeals with delight at the prospect of nearly any couple, but the pessimist in me is convinced that Chase will break Masters’ heart- and not before sleeping with her.
I used to really like Chase, but after he got a haircut its like he’s become a different person. Or he’s the same person, only terribly and willfully degraded. I’d like to think he can be redeemed, but it probably won’t happen this season.
