Steak and sizzle on order for the new Celebrity Apprentice

Wow. Just wow. The gang comprising the new season of Donald Trump’s show are certain to entertain. I predict drama by the Trump Tower-load.

Look:

I know. It’s yet another edition of reality programming to clog up the airwaves. (I can hear some of you groaning already.) But at least it’s not as heinous as a Jon & Kate Plus 8 or a Jersey Shore.

And after you take a gander at the circus of celebrities on this season’s The Apprentice, you can see why it’s certain to sizzle longer and louder than a freshly-made plate of fajitas.

Week after week, it’s going to be good. I mean, we’re talkin’ some spiffy celebrities this round. I predict snarkery and catfights aplenty. There are some ridiculously superb match-ups that could possibly go head to head during the projects. Anyone – anyone – vs. LaToya Jackson just sends shudders of joy down my spine.

I’ve seen a few past incidents with LaToya. She’s alternately spacey one moment, brings out the claws the next. Nifty for me would have been “a discussion” between her and Cyndi Lauper who was previously on Celebrity Apprentice.  Can you imagine the (no) give and take between those two? If you can, they you can imagine the fireworks that might be set off when she inevitably becomes a project manager – if she lasts that long.

And I don’t know about you, but two words strike giddy anticipation in my heart:

Gary. Busey.

I am very pleased. Go David Cassidy and Meatloaf! Is my life sad?

Now seems like a good time to say my old boss was great friends with Gary Busey and I used to call his voice mail message to listen to his freaky greetings, and I sat next to Meat Loaf’s former brother-in-law on a flight to LA last year. He used my phone to call his niece, the Loaf’s daughter.

What I am saying here is: this cast and me? We are TIGHT.

LOL. Perhaps they’ll give you shout outs during the confessionals! :)

I’ll have to give it a gander, especially if my new best friend, Drama, is going to be there. :) I watched this show a couple of times when it was first introduced, but never got terribly invested. It is funny to see the Trump get a little bent about things. Not as interesting as Chef Ramsey.. but possibly a close second. I imagine LaToya as being a bit of a diva.. should be interesting!

. . . . .

Oh … “Drama” will be there, Renee. Believe you me.
