So it will be Sam Adama’s personal jihad that brings Centurions and presumably their tanks to Tauron. How pleasing it is to write that I would not have predicted Sam would be responsible for such a happening. I should not get too ahead of myself here, but the possibility of getting to see more of this story line has me excited for future episodes.
The slaughter at the party was not nearly as disturbing as the Graystone commercial. Let’s see, it went something like this: “Imagine never having to say goodbye to your loved ones again. Imagine a future without loss, brought to you today. ‘Grace,’ by Graystone. Some memories should live forever.” Truly in any time or galaxy, advertising always gives a sincere attempt to make the grotesque palatable. There is no True Grace in this product at all, but Graystone will make sure their distorted “grace” can be bought. True Grace, Charity, Mercy, and Forgiveness are free, infinite rivers that can’t be diminished unless the heart dries them up. These worlds are already hell bent on dying of thirst, so I guess it seems fitting that Centurions head to the parched planet of Tauron to make war.
Graystone’s Amanda avatar is flat, lacking the breath of life that Zoe — possibly through her angel — was able to create. Graystone will just have to learn about Zoe’s back up and kill whomever is standing in his way to get it. The man is getting so numb to guilt, it should not confront him at all. Unless, of course, that person is Amanda.
Amanda should be applauded for her cleverness. She’s getting downright Trixie. (Had to, Deadwood fans.)
I’m delighted to see that Joe Adama is finally appreciating Evelyn’s merits; she clearly loves him. It was smart casting to have Teryl Rothery (Stargate SG1) in the role as Evelyn. Her past role as Dr. Fraiser provides so much built in trust and good will. Thumbs up to the Caprica hair team for giving her a good hairstyle. Poor Teryl never had a good do on Stargate SG1.
In keeping with my theme in pointing out objects no one else notices, did anyone enjoy the giant hearse we saw in this episode?

Caprica just gets more and more amazing with each episode. Apart from the grittier and more focused story, and the possibilities that are opening up, its the visions of a (past) futuristic city that blow me away. A superb vision of what the cities of today might look like in a hundred years or so.
Am I the first person to see the mutual references to one another between the excellent film ‘The Social Network’ and Caprica? In The Social Network, when they’re in the night club, it looks a lot like the Opera House / V-world night club. And the twins are actually one actor playing two characters incredibly. In this episode of Caprica, Daniel realizes that he might be able to improve the AI algorithm by using ‘social networking data’.
Anway, Caprica is amazing and I hope it, and BSG: Blood and Chrome will run in parallel, complimenting one another, with characters from Caprica and BSG meeting on common ground in Blood and Chrome.
I really miss human cylons, and the paranoia about who might be a sleeper agent. Human cylons are seriously one of the coolest creations since replicants and terminators. I really hope that we learn about where the significant eight cylons came from. Yes, their cylon DNA was created by the final five, but their personalities must initially have been inside centurion bodies. In other words, the significant eight, inside centurion bodies, must have negotiated with the final five, for organic bodies to be created for them. Which would imply that all centurions were copies of the significant eight.
I did not see Social Network. A wink perhaps?
The personality programming is always interesting to explore. I hope we can get there.

I am willing to bet we will get a wrap up movie like they did with The Plan. I can only imagine the plot holes the finale will leave.
You probably put it as well as it could be about Graystone being numb to guilt, bsgfan2003. But when I see him I see a man sinking in the conflicting despair of a man who has reached a point of no return. I almost feel sorry for him. I don’t think he likes himself vey much.
The Saint Halloween’s day massacre. After the killing when the cylon said ‘By your command’ It took me way back….back even to TOS. I always LOVED it when they (cylons) said that. If this show is suffering from ratings, a healthy dose of some good old fashioned fighting centurion cylons might just do the trick.
Yeah, sorry to see it’s not getting a second series. They tried to reach a broader audience, but at the expense of abandoning fans of BSG. From the beginning they should have built on the success of BSG, not tried to distance themselves from it. They did fix this in 1.5, but it wasn’t enough to pull BSG fans back in. The excitement about BSG: Blood and Chrome says it all I think. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some of the characters from Caprica and BSG in BSG: Blood and Chrome.
I’m sorry too. We all knew it was on the horizon, but I would have liked to have seen more episodes.
