“Charles isn’t the only charmer in Miami.” – Sam, about to become Chuck Finley
Let’s start out strong, shall we? I loved everything about this episode of Burn Notice, from Chuck Finley to the big set up for next week’s summer finale. But Chuck ruled the episode for me. It was great to see Sam taking a front row seat in this episode, leading the con. If I were in charge, I would have had Sam doing the voice overs for his parts. Since Michael wasn’t even involved in the drugging of the drink scenes, wouldn’t it have been epic to hear a Sam voice over?
Sam and Fiona as a couple were hilarious, from the snookie-face to Sam slapping her on the butt. They were so over-the-top I don’t know how their cover wasn’t blown.
Speaking of blown cover, Fiona making out with Jesse … huh. In the beginning of the season, I really thought Fiona wanted to be all over the new hunk in town. As the season progressed and she stayed true to Michael, I was glad the series was going in another direction, instead of the obvious infidelity. Hopefully, that’s all there will be of that. It was a nice way for them to release that sexual tension (she really has been dying to lock lips with Jesse) and not have it effect Fiona and Michael.
This and that:
The lightness of this episode (in parts) was so welcome, and I’m sure it will have to hold us over because there’s some very heavy stuff coming in next week’s summer finale.
Did you all adore your dose of Sam Axe / Chuck Finley as much as I did?
Oh man, I loved that line “Chuck Finely is Forever”! This was such a great episode. I am on the edge of my seat for the finale next week, but I so don’t want it to be over.
The “Hotness” scene last night for me was when Michael was talking with Sam and Charles. Michael is trying to make the move to get into Charles’ head and He does the Brit mocking voice. **~Swoon~** Michael is so HOT!
Oh and I am so mad oat Fiona for getting all gaga over Jessie (even though he is HOT too). Michael and Fi need to be together forever!
