Always liked this show, especially the Denny-Alan dynamic. The nightly talks on the balcony were always great summations of the episode and it’s message. With all the cliffhangers that string you from episode to episode on some shows, it was always nice to have a consistent, conclusive ending every week

Boston Legal is one of my favorite shows of all time! Every actor on the show had to display an amazing amount of range, especially Shatner, who could go from cartoon goofball to utterly serious and heart-wrenching on a dime. I also liked it because it was one of the only shows on TV where most of the characters were older than me instead of younger. And because of they way they broke down the fourth wall. And all the Star Trek-actor spotting…oh, heck, is there any reason I *didn’t* love this show?
Boston Legal is one my favorite shows, and I have every season except 5 on DVD. I know it says it’s random, but I have bad luck with such things and I haven’t won anything on this site yet despite my thought-provoking Lost commentary. ;_; Maybe… maybe you could cheat a li’l?
I’m soooo excited Boston Legal is coming to TV Land! I love the quirky off-beat sense of humor from that show! It will be the perfect addition to my late-night tv line up!

Due to having worked second shift, I totally missed Boston Legal when it first aired. I have changed shifts and am now able to see TVLand’s airing. I now see why my friends always had chuckles and jokes to share with me back when I was on second shift. Laughter is good medicine, and I think you for my much needed doses of it!

I loved each and every character on Boston Legal. I would hear in the off season some one would not return and I would worry that the series was taking a nosedive and then a new character would appear and all was right with the world.

I think one of the reasons the show was a success was the manner in which (Shatner & Spader) complimented each other’s roles.

I was so glad when I saw that TVland had picked up Boston Legal. There is such a great interaction between Shatner and Spader and Betty White always shines when she is on. Candice Bergen is also great as Shirley. This show never stops with the laughs and I wish it had gone on forever.

The episode of BOSTON LEGAL that I remember best opens with Betty White’s character smuggling a friend out of a nursing home because her abusive conservator has imprisoned her there. The story line develops with Spader’s character, Alan, finding to his dismay that the friend has little legal recourse to prevent the conservator from robbing her assets and keeping her isolated in the nursing home. The star’s recourse is amazing swift even for Alan.
I didn’t know how true-to-life the whole conservator abuse scenario was until my own best friend had a stroke and was placed in a nursing facility against his wishes by a court-appointed conservator. It occurred to me the only time I’d seen this travesty of justice depicted on the big or the small screen was in that episode of BOSTON LEGAL. I wish more people could see it. I wish it could be viewed and then discussed in communities of seniors and people with disabilities to prevent their victimization. Is there any chance of that happening?
