I’m really excited about tonight’s repeats. Did I just write that? Wow. You’ve got to hand it to the networks, because they know what they’re doing on Thursday nights — light on the unscripted and heavy on the quality repeats (and don’t forget a new Burn Notice … oh yeah).
- The first time Bones‘s “The Passenger in the Oven” aired, Rich compared it to MacGyver (I’m thinking about Burn Notice again) — doesn’t get much more fun that that.
- ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy repeat is a pivotal episode from this season. Jane was sick of Bailey’s whining when she reviewed it, but I loved the introduction of Eric Stoltz as the death row prisoner and Derek and Meredith “dancing it out.”
- The CW re-airs Supernatural‘s “Monster Movie” tonight. I’m almost up to this episode in my Virgin Diaries, filmed in black and white and all tongue-in-cheek, praised by Brett in his review earlier this season.
- NBC repeats The Office‘s “Business Trip.” I loved the bonding of Andy and Oscar in this episode, and Jason’s original review ripped into Angela for her treatment of Andy.
- Don’t forget to stay tuned to 30 Rock after The Office. Bob loved the fact that this episode, “Retreat to Move Forward,” had no guest stars but lots of laughs.
- Is The Mentalist in repeats every night of the week? I wouldn’t blame CBS if it were, what with the ratings this show pulls, but you can catch “Miss Red” tonight at 10:00.
