Whether you’re into reality fare or highbrow TV, there’s a little bit of everything in tonight’s rerun selections. Take a look:
Mental, Fox, 9 p.m. If you missed the pilot earlier this week, check this show out. It’s sort of like House, only with a small-town psychiatric doc who comes to work at a big hospital. Highlight: He gets naked in front of the entire staff on his first day.
In Treatment, HBO, 11 p.m. There are three episodes tonight, including the finale. With Gabriel Byrne as the lead actor, it’s hard to focus on this show about a therapist and his patients. But like most HBO shows, it’s superb and really delivers the goods.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians, E!, 9 p.m. I’m sorry to say I’ve grown fond of the train wreck lives of those Krazy Kardashians . I especially love it when Kris gets all dramatic and stages unneeded interventions for her kids. Bruce Jenner always looks like a deer caught in the headlights, but maybe that’s just because of his plastic-surgery-gone-wrong expression.
Howie Do It, NBC, 8 p.m. I haven’t watched this show, because, frankly, it just looks stupid. But I like Howie Mandel on Deal or No Deal, so maybe watching him make people look like fools isn’t all that bad.
Wife Swap, ABC, 8 p.m. Watched this show a few times when it first came out. They always pick the most ludicrous swaps (of course!), like in tonight’s ep: A Cajun swamp wife swaps lives with a ballet dancer in California. Have fun with that.
