The Week in Clack – BSG, procedurals, and virgin diaries

Week of January 25 to January 31

Clever, insolent, creative, irreverent; even a little twisted. I speak of the writers here at CliqueClack, and the unique posts they churn out day after day. How could we let seven days go by without highlighting some of the week’s gems?

Just as new programming was reaching its stride, some of our favorite shows decided they needed a break before February sweeps. That’s OK, because we got virgin diaries out of the deal:

• Annie’s Gossip Girl Virgin diaries leave her exhausted.
• Kona’s Weeds Virgin’s Diary take her to the end of season one.
• I finally got to see the beginning of season two in my Diary of a Supernatural Virgin.

As always, we’re asking the good questions here at CliqueClack TV:

• Jen delves into the serious question posed on last week’s House — Should Cuddy have given the baby back?
• Who will be a messiah first – Starbuck or Locke? asks Bob Degon.
  
• Scott wonders if  Fiona burned Michael on Burn Notice.
  
• Can Bones at the circus work? Jen says yes.
• Aryeh muses on how NCIS can have 18 million viewers, but no love.
• And Keith delves into BSG‘s mystery of the grenade — did Tigh jump on it?

Speaking of Battlestar Galactica, Keith’s Frakkin’ Clack as some spoilers out of the mouth of Ron Moore himself.

• Keith’s Notable computers on TV
• Cate gives us her nominees for the worst hair on TV — not who you’d think!
• Jennifer Garner needs some entertainment while breastfeeding, and Jen’s got some ideas for her.
• The CliqueClack Flashback of The State leaves Kona nostaligic.
  
• Oh, the irony of Rich’s letter to the government, about the fact that they actually did something right — extending the deadline for the digital cutover. Yeah, that bill got shot down. It’s like they read Rich’s post, ad realized their reputation would be shot if they actually did do something right.

And last but not least, our esteemed Guest Clacks for the week:

• Nicole shares her thoughts about the Trust Me pilot.
• Sebastian’s back, and tells us that Craig Ferguson is the best talk show host there is.
