Pacific Rim is my perfect date night movie. Its what moves me as a girl: Robots, special effects, guns, fighting to the bitter end, techno/edm and other quirky robotic sounds. This flick with lots of candy and soda while in sloppy shorts and a tank is my ideal. I hearby promise to love and to cherish to have and to hold this dear copy of Pacific Rim for the rest of my dear life….
I would like to win this movie because (1) I saw it 2x in theaters; (2) I want to share its greatness and awesomeness with friends and family; (3) Ron Perlman is the man in his role as Hannibal Chau.
We missed this one when it was in the theater, but we have heard so many good things, that my kids and I really want to see it.
This was one of the very few movies we saw in a theater, and the 3-D effects were excellent. I am looking forward to seeing the extra features on the DVD.

LIke many others I missed this at the theaters and if I don’t win it I’m gonna have to buy it!
I want this movie because it has changed my life. I blog about this movie 24/7. When the movie came out I was blogging about it 25/8. I cut my hair like Mako. My blog is dedicated to her. I love the relationships in this movie. I love the message. I love the way Guillermo wrote the characters. I am writing about for my film music class because I thought even the music was outstanding. I just really need this movie to be part of my collection.
This was an awesome movie. My son and I loved the battle scenes. His twin sister wants to see it now.
I was lucky enough to get to see this movie in theaters, which was difficult enough to do – two different friends who agreed to see it with me dropped and weren’t sure if they wanted to see it because they thought it didn’t look good. I went to see it with my friend Molly, and LOVED it (IMAX 3D, there’s no other way to see a movie as visually stunning as this). I knew this was an action movie, but I was truly impressed by just how early on we see an action scene, and even more so by how much action there was dispersed throughout the film.
I went home and gave my friends so much crap for bailing on me and told them how amazing it was, and they were actually convinced – they were ready to see it, and I had agreed to go back to see it again with them – that’s how much I loved that movie, because I rarely go see a movie in theaters more than once. That said, by the time I saw it the first time, it was the last week it was out in theaters, so we never got a chance to go back and watch it.
I’d love to get this movie on Blu-Ray so I can hold a screening for my friends! I already have a great group in mind

I thought this was one of the most entertaining action movies of the summer! I saw it in IMAX and the effects were amazing. Would love to see it again at home, and also check out the extras.
I want a copy of the film because I LOVED it!!! I waited for a year for the movie to come out during which time I followed updates about it on Twitter and Facebook. I shared info about the movie with friends who were clueless about it (WHAT!?!). I am a fan a Guillermo and was really excited when I learned that he was involved in a movie with big robots and monsters – reminder of Godzilla. I am also a big fan of anime classics involving big robots like Gundam Wing, Robotech, Voltron, and Esclaflowne. And the one that the film reminds me most of is Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was like watching that anime come to life in Pacific Rim.
In closing, I would like the film because I really, really liked the movie and would appreciate the opportunity to watch it in the comfort of my home, on the road, while doing my hair, etc.
I didn’t get the chance to see it in theaters. I now am scared that when Giant Robots take over I won’t know what to do. I need to win this Movie to see what my survival chances are ;0)

The movie sounded ridiculous. On a chance, I went and saw it opening day just for the heck of it. I ended up seeing it 3 times the opening week! I loved it! Turned out to be one of my favorite movies in a long time! Thanks for the chance

I saw Pacific Rim three times in theaters, once was in 3D, and I had a blast! I loved it! I’m a HUGE fan of the film and I definitely want to see it whenever I want and to be able to add it to my DVD/Blu-ray collection! Thanks for the chance.
