Oz and Hansel & Gretel are new to home video June 11

While it wasn’t perfect — good beginning and end, saggy in the middle — Sam Raimi scored a big hit with Oz, the Great and Powerful, and if you missed it in theaters you can enjoy the film in the comfort of your living room this week. And if you have 3D capability, this is a movie that should be seen in all three dimensions. (Perhaps not so coincidentally, Warner Brothers is preparing a 75th anniversary re-release of The Wizard of Oz in IMAX 3D.) Staying on the 3D fantasy track, the under-performing but still enjoyable Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters also arrives on home video this week.
