Is it everyone’s new year’s resolution to eat healthier? Well, I broke mine as I dove headfirst into the Ghiradelli 60% chocolate chips and Newman’s Own Spelt Pretzels. I’m not sure if there’s a better combination than chocolate and pretzels. Except maybe chocolate and red wine, but that’s a guilty pleasure for another night…. — Debbie
Grandma served strawberries and cherry ice cream for dessert at dinner this Sunday. I love the cherry chunks in cherry ice cream, so I certainly couldn’t say no to that. But then she passed the leftover cherry pie from Saturday night, and I helped myself to a slice of that, too. Probably not the healthiest choice — but I love fruit pies of every ilk, and I wasn’t about to pass it up! Yum! — Molly
One of my biggest guilty pleasures is a chocolate pudding cup. Sweet and chocolatey, smooth and cold, I love them almost as much as ice cream. The really strange part about this is that I really don’t like homemade pudding. I think it has something to do with the creepy skin that forms on the top of pudding as it sets up. You never get that in pudding cups though. — Bob
Taco Bell Steak Taquitos — Often, I am not hungry when I first wake. So, I slurp down a couple of mugs of coffee, and go about my day. Unfortunately, by the time I realize I am hungry and need to eat, I am about ready to pass out. Today, I was in my car when I started to notice the signs (I tend to be a little hypoglycemic as well). So, I went to Taco Bell and got an order of steak taquitos and ate them in my car. Mmmm, the hot, steakey, cheesey goodness, dipped in fake guacamole. It gave me the energy I needed to continue, and I won’t lie: It tasted great. — Jen
