Comic-Con presents: Fright Night Friday

If you couldn't make it to Comic-Con this year, here's a look at one of the events for the upcoming 'Fright Night' remake. A lucky few actually got to touch Colin Farrell!

Colin Farrell greets a fan at Fright Night Friday

I am a big fan of the original Fright Night, so I’ve been a little on the fence with this upcoming remake. But with a great cast, including Colin Farrell, I am more than willing to give this a shot. At Comic-Con, attendees were treated not only to a panel but a Fright Night Friday party where fans got to rub elbows with the stars of the film including Mr. Farrell himself, and were treated to the first public screening of the movie. If you didn’t make it to the big shindig in San Diego this year, here’s a taste of what you (and I) missed:

I wasn’t there. Didn’t look like he was there either from the footage. Maybe one of the other Clackers who were at SDCC got to touch him.

Well, anyone who touches Tennant becomes .1% Timelord, so we’ll have to do tests to know for sure if he was there.

Unless Michael did something he didn’t tell us about, touching David Tennant wasn’t on our agenda.

In fact, nothing Who-related was. Matt Smith was on a panel that Keith and I shared, but I wasn’t paying attention.

Tennant is in Fright Night as Peter Vincent, so it wouldn’t have been anything Who-related. But I didn’t see anyone else from the movie at the party (in the video) except for Farrell, Anton Yelchin and whoever the girlfriend is.

That was such an amazing party. Getting to chill with Colin Farrell like it was no big deal was so damn cool. He was the nicest guy in the world, too. The movie was awesome, I can’t wait for all of you to see it!
